UN/CEFACT releases e-CMR standard, based on Multi Modal Transport Reference Model
A team of transport and logistics experts, coordinated by the International Road Union (IRU) has published the specification for a standard for the road consignment note (e-CMR). The e-CMR standard is based on the UN/CEFACT core component library and the Multi Modal Transport Reference Model (MMT). 51Biz-PPMB Luxembourg actively participates to the UN/CEFACT e-CMR and Data Pipeline core project teams and is observer at the WCO (World Customs Organization) Data Model Task Group. We share the coordination of the "Governance and Business Model" team of the DTLF, Digital Transport and Logistics Forum, an expert group created by the European Commission.
